Nadia Lezcano
Nadia Lezcano graduated with her BFA in Ceramics from Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. Primarily she works sculpturally, beginning to focus more on site-specific installations as a way to challenge how the artwork is found. Her work deals with her perception of the world and how these processes of making and observing can serve as a form of communication.
Currently she works as the Ceramics studio technician for the Community College of Baltimore County while teaching at Chesapeake Arts Center. Nadia enjoys talking about special interests and learning new skill sets, and when she isn’t working, she enjoys her time reading with her many cats.
